The track is all set and participants from the running fraternity and elsewhere are prepping up for the event. Few do\u2019s and don\u2019ts for the day before the event are:<\/p>\n<p><b>Do\u2019s <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay calm and relax physically and mentally.<\/li>\n<li>Drink more water than usual.<\/li>\n<li>Plan your breakfast appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Have lunch with supplies of carbohydrates.<\/li>\n<li>Have usual dinner and take good hours of sleep.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Don\u2019ts<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not strain your body too much.<\/li>\n<li>Working too much at home can lead to stress.<\/li>\n<li>Eating anything that can upset your stomach will affect your running.<\/li>\n<li>No alcohol consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Try not to stay up late the night before.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Few tips to follow during the run:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lower your pace than normal at the start line.<\/li>\n<li>Do not get carried away by the crowd and the cheers.<\/li>\n<li>Say <i>cheese<\/i> to the camera at least once a while!<\/li>\n<li>Sprint the last 100 meters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although prepping up for the marathon is important, planning for the run and considering tips to follow on the day of the marathon is equally crucial.<\/p>\n<p>Have a Great Run &amp; Good Luck!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The second edition of Go Green Run will be flagged from Decathlon, Sarjapur on Saturday, July 26th.
