We had the opportunity to connect with these marketing wizards at the recently concluded DMAi 2014, held at New Delhi. DMAi 2014 saw some of the biggest and brightest marketing minds from India and the rest of the world discuss the future of direct and data-driven marketing in India. We were able to rub shoulders with the men and women who have been cornerstones of Indian direct marketing. They brought it to where it stands today. Held over 3 days, DMAi 2014 was a complete success with major panel discussions, meet-and-greet events, and a plethora of marketing excellence awards conferred. Michael Leander, the globetrotting digital marketing guru and power speaker, who is also part of the management at Strategic Marketing Services, held a series of conversations with highly acclaimed marketing leaders at DMAi 2014. The first video features Ajay Row – a man who has 27 years of collective experience in international direct marketing. He has been instrumental in establishing loyalty programs, data-driven marketing and CRM systems. Charismatic, he is also blessed with a great sense of humor! He has been instrumental in revolutionizing the way Indian businesses see data-driven marketing and loyalty programs. In the interview, Michael and Ajay have an interesting conversation about how data is an extremely important part of the marketing process.

His prior roles include VP of CRM for Taj (global), co-founder and Executive Director of CustomerAsset (now listed as FirstSource Ltd.), CEO of Wunderman India, and General Manager of Trikaya Grey Direct.
